Bellini's Italian Resto

Bellini's Italian Resto, also known as the barkada restaurant in the movie One More Chance, is an authentic Italian resto in the heart of Cubao Expo.

The place is super cozy and it is a perfect dating place!

The restaurant has two sections, one at the main dining area and the other one is behind that wall (see picture below).

Most of their tables and chairs are good for big groups.

The place is super nice and its interiors are superb. The walls and the ceiling are amazingly hand-painted!

They also provide diners with unlimited supply of bread sticks all throughout the meal! :)

At the entrance of the resto is a chalkboard where you can check out their menu for the day.

FOOD! FOOD! FOOD!

What we tried:

We tried a Pasta dish which is not in the menu. It's a white sauce pasta with bacon, P350. I forgot to ask the waiter again for the name of the dish before we left.

The pasta is al dente and it tastes sooo good.

One of our observations in their dishes is that the restaurant is not that into food presentations.

Their dishes are super poor in presentation.

Another pasta that we tried is their Meat Lasagna, P350. The dish was okay except that it's a bit salty.

We also tried one of their tomato and mozzarella based Pizzas.

This is the Bellini's special Pizza. The large one costs P610 and the small one costs P350. Good thing we only ordered the small one, cause we didn't like the pizza.

The pizza has pomodeo, melanzane, pepperoni, cucumber, onion, salame, ham and salciccia hotdog. I think there's also an eggplant in there.

Bellini's has this unique hot sauce made from (i think) hot chili peppers submerged in olive oil.

I don't know what's so special about this pizza that they made this one of their specialty pizzas and it was even named after the owner, Mr. Bellini.

We also had dessert (photo to follow) called Pharoah's delight. It is a home-made gelato cake. It is a pyramid-shaped dessert made with gelato chunky figs, and topped with pistachio nuts. The dessert was also okay.

If i were to rate the four dishes that we tried, the number one in my list is the pasta with white sauce, second is the gelato cake, next is the meat lasagna and last is the bellini's special pizza.

There's also a free sweet wine after meals. The smell of the wine is a bit strong, but the taste is just mild and sweet.

Budget per person is around 400-650.

The dishes are a bit pricey for their taste. But maybe we should just give it another chance and try their other dishes. We should have read online reviews first before we tried their food, so that we have an idea on what we should order but it's too late. We'll just try to go back in there sometime to give Bellini's a one more chance.

Yes, outdoor sitting is also available. I recommend though that you eat inside the restaurant for a cozier and more romantic ambiance.

After filling our stomachs, we went on checking out more shops at the Cubao Expo. :)

If you wanna visit Bellini's and experience authentic Italian dining you can visit them at Cubao Expo (more details below).
