Og's restaurant is our favorite tambayan in the town of El Nido. The Restaurant Inn is just beside one of the town's most famous restaurants, which is the Sea Slugs. Og's is owned by one of my dad's friends in El Nido, it's a very affordable inn that is priced reasonably. It also offers island hopping tours.

LIMESTONE CLIFFS

The towering limestone cliffs will welcome you to the town of El Nido.

The town is surrounded by these towering limestone cliffs. These cliffs are said to be home to different species of birds, specially to the balinsasayaws. The Balinsasayaws, are birds that live in the holes of the limestone cliffs, they are precious birds specially to some of the people in El Nido who harvest their nests. This birds produces saliva, which they use to build their nests. These nests that they make costs very very expensive. They're said to be very healthy and they're used to make soups and other dishes taste uniquely delicious.

How to get to El Nido:

It is very easy to reach the town of El Nido. There are numerous ways on how to get here depending on you budget and depending on where you are coming from. You could either commute via bus or shuttle or you could hire a private van (advisable only if you’re travelling in a large group since it’s costly to rent a car if you are alone or if there are only a few of you in the group) from Puerto Princesa City going to El Nido.
El Nido is 5-6 hours away from Puerto Princesa, the Capital city of Palawan. The buses and shuttles from Puerto Princesa travels directly  to El Nido, this is the cheapest way to get to here. Another alternative that you could do, if you are coming from Manila, is to ride an airplane. Today, there are already direct flights going to El Nido. It is just more costly to travel to El Nido via the said direct fights of course.
