HIDDEN BEACH (El Nido, Palawan)

After our awesome visit at the Helicopter Island, we proceeded to this particular island, called the Hidden Beach.

This was our second island destination.

Hidden between two rocks is a strip of white sand beach. The beach is really hidden, that you can't see it unless you go further in between these two stones. It was named hidden beach, simply because it is a beach hidden between two rocks.

It looks like a dead end, but it's just an illusion. There really is a way in between those rocks that will lead you to a small strip of white sand beach, and there is also an exit at the end turning right.

This island is frequented by island hoppers for their lunch stopovers. It's maybe because of the fact that there are a lot of shaded areas in this island that this area became a frequented lunch stopover spot.

Our boatmen decided that we take our lunch here in this island. So, when our boat docked at the beach, the boatmen volunteered to prepare our lunch so that we could go snorkeling and swimming.

So as they prepare our lunch, me and my friends decided that we take photos first before we go snorkeling. There's this tall limestone cliff which is a really nice background for our photos.

After the photo session, we decided to go into the water to check out the snorkeling area of the island. The shallow area is quite full of rocks, so you need to swim, or float, or whatever, just don't walk on it, 'cause it's really painful once you step on the small rocks in there. Make sure that you wear your life vests once you go snorkeling, so that you will just float in there and you need not walk or whatever.  In the deeper parts of the water, however, lie some corals which you can enjoy viewing. We even found Nemo in there! hahaha :) While snorkeling we saw large and long sea slugs and a variety of fishes. The downside is, the corals in there are just small and they're not so colorful.

After snorkeling, we went back to the beach to fill up our hungry stomachs. Good thing, lunch is already served! Thanks to our kind boatmen! :)

After we finished eating our lunch, we packed up and then went on with our island hopping adventure!

If i were to rate this island i would give it a 2 out of 5 stars. The only thing that wowed me here, is the nice picturesque view of the island's entrance, the sea slugs and nemo. :) Aside form those, there's nothing else that made an impression to me, but its good. It's not an ugly island naman. :)

Visit it padin and make sure you tell me about how your trip to the Hidden Beach is. :)

Adios!
