VILLA MARGUERITA

On our first day in Port Barton, me and my friend April went looking for a nice place to stay in for the night. After checking out a lot of accommodations, we finally came across one which suits our taste. The Villa Marguerita!!

Villa Marguerita is a 35,000 sq ft private beachfront home and resort in Port Barton, Palawan Philippines.

It is a native style home and it is one of the best accommodations in Port Barton.

They have nice staffs who also serve as the owners' caretakers. They are very kind and accommodating.

AMENITIES:

Their facilities are clean and comfortable. They have a large kitchen, dining and living room. They have 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.

This is the room we slept in. Air con wasn't an issue. The room is airy and cool, so it's okay that they don't have an air conditioning unit.

The electricity in Port Barton only runs from 6pm till midnight, but don't worry because there are some solar lights and fans in the house.

The entire house is well furnished with all the comforts of home.

They also have kayaks in there and we also learned that they keep a monkey and an 12'' albino python as pets.

There's also comfortable beach chairs perfect for soaking up the sun during the day and for star-gazing at night.

Later that night, we sat in their beach chairs gazing at the stars. It was a super relaxing activity, just appreciating the awesome creations of God. The sound of the splashing waves lulled me to sleep. Yes I've fallen asleep on one of those beach chairs while star-gazing haha.

Earlier that evening April bought some food from the restaurant beside this accommodation. Somebody there asked her where she's staying at and she said that she's staying at Villa Marguerita. She was told that the place were staying at doesn't actually accept walk-in guests and that they only accept guests who book online. She was also told that the rates here are dollar rates. We were really surprised to find these out. God is really good.  We were very much surprised with that amazing blessing.

I would highly recommend this place to families or large groups. For a more authentic home stay and non-resort type of stay, make Villa Margueirta your home in Port Barton, one of the holiday destinations in Palawan.
