Little Calvin's Pizzeria

Fun and Interesting! That's how i'll describe this new resto here in the city of Puerto Princesa. Recently opened last March 2013, Little Calvin's Pizzeria now caters to the curious taste buds of the Palawenyos.

The pizzeria was named after the owner's 3-year old son, Calvin.

THE PLACE

50's-60's is the theme of this super nice diner. The place is super cute! The diner has a lot of photographs of the 50's-60's legends like Audrey Hepburn, Marilyn Monroe, Elvis Presley, The Beatles, etc on display.

They also have a huge juke box in there which is still in good condition and it's still working. It plays a lot of songs from the 50's and 60's.

They also have free wi-fi access. :) Outdoor seating is also available.

FOOD

As for the food, one of Little Calvin's best sellers is the pizza nutella with campfire marshmallows! It looks super appetizing and it also tastes  good (according to my friends who had already tried it).

They also serve breakfast all-day!

Last night i was able to try two of their pasta dishes, lasagna and spicy crocodile pasta. Both dishes tasted good and the pasta was perfectly cooked al dente'. That was also my first time to eat crocodile meat! Most people say that crocodile meat tastes like chicken, but for me the crocodile meat used in the pasta sauce tastes like pork. For me the dish was not that spicy, i think it lacks a bit more of chili content in it. I guess i just like my food really spicy (since the name of the dish has the word "spicy" in it, i expected it to be really spicy)!

I was also able to try their Beef Spareribs and it is supeeeeer GOOD! :) The spareribs was topped with fried potatoes and carrots. It's a must try! The meat is super tender and the sauce goes very well with the meat and the veggies.

Desserts are also available in here. I tried their chocolate and red velvet cupcakes.

Both looks delicious. The frosting of the red velvet cupcake, however, is super sweet, which i actually don't like. It's maybe because I prefer eating red velvet cupcakes with cream cheese as frosting.
Some of their other specialties are their Mexican Quesadillas, Nachos and milkshakes (toasted marshmallow and blueberry).

Bottled american beers are also available in here, they have a wide selection where you can choose on what type of beer you'd like to have.

I was super naaliw (entertained) with their cute napkin and toothpick dispensers! :)
